How do I add MediaInfo to a VPS or Dedicated Server?

Installation:

  1. Go to the MediaInfo website and click the Download MediaInfo button.

  2. If you're using a non-Windows operating system, select the down arrow and choose your operating system.

  3. Select the universal installer if you don't know your Windows version. Click the file to install.

  4. After installation, open Windows Start and look for MediaInfo in the list of recently added programs. Press M and select to turn on MediaInfo.
    Set "Read & execute" rights for MediaInfo.dll when deploying.

  5. If you want to access HTTP(S)/FTP(S) files, set the same rights for the sidecar libcurl.dll file.
