We loved AIOS and have used it exclusively on hundreds of WordPress websites for over ten years. But a side-by-side comparison puts Wordfence far ahead now. With Wordfence Central, you can manage multiple websites in one screen. Wordfence also uses AI to analyze your website and use the best options automatically. Wordfence was a resource hog and actually slowed down WordPress, but our recent tests did not see any bloatware issues like this.

AIOS seems to be having more issues lately and in some cases blocks good visitors and spiders. We have not seen this issue with Wordfence.

So we suggest removing any other security or login protecting plugins (like Loginizer and AIOS) in your WordPress admin section, and add Wordfence with their Wordfence central service, you can add it here first and connect it:

The free version with default setting in Wordfence are normally enough to keep your WordPress safe. The paid versions are also worth the money, if you want real-time advanced help with your WordPress security and performance. They also have a mission-critical solution with hands-on management.
