How long does a CentOS cPanel server take to upgrade to AlmaLinux?

In our experience, the process takes 2–3 hours to upgrade from CentOS to AlmaLinux using the cPanel elevate process. You can count on about 2 hours of downtime during the process.

 

This is assuming the cPanel server is updated to the latest version and all the checks are passed.
