WordPress makes it easy to share downloadable files such as PDFs, documents, spreadsheets, images, software, and other resources.

Adding a Download Link to a Page or Post

  1. Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard.

  2. Edit the page or post where you want the download link to appear.

  3. Add a File block or upload the file to your Media Library.

  4. Select the uploaded file and insert it into the page.

  5. Save or publish your changes.

Visitors will be able to click the link and download the file directly.

Using the Media Library

You can also upload files through:

Media > Add New

After uploading, copy the file URL and use it anywhere on your website, including pages, posts, buttons, or menus.

Supported File Types

Common downloadable files include:

  • PDF documents

Large Downloads
