1) Basics

My site loads using https:// The homepage displays correctly No placeholder or “coming soon” page is showing The site looks acceptable on mobile

If your site still shows a placeholder page, your domain may not be pointing correctly yet or WordPress may be installed in a subfolder. If you want, open a ticket and we can confirm DNS and the correct document root.

2) Must-have pages

Home page is complete About page is created Contact page is created Privacy Policy page exists (recommended)

If this is a business site, adding a Privacy Policy is strongly recommended, especially if you use contact forms, analytics, or email marketing.

3) Speed and security

Caching is enabled (LiteSpeed Cache recommended) WordPress, theme, and plugins are updated Strong admin password is set Login protection is enabled (Wordfence recommended)

Keep plugin count lean. Remove anything you are not using. One performance plugin and one security plugin is typically enough for most sites.

4) Contact and email

Contact form sends successfully Replies go to the right email address Business email works (or forwarding is set up) I tested from my phone and desktop

Test your contact form by sending a message to yourself. Confirm it arrives and that reply-to works correctly.

5) Final polish

Menu links work and go to the correct pages No broken links or empty buttons Spelling and formatting look clean I know where my admin login link is (usually /wp-admin)

Quick win

Read your homepage out loud once. It is the fastest way to catch wording issues and awkward phrases.

6) Search and tracking (optional)

I know what my site is about in one sentence Page titles make sense (Home, About, Contact) I have a plan to share the site (social, email, QR, etc.) I saved this checklist for later
